What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments/Reviews
When visitors leave comments or reviews on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form (name, email address and comment/review), and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. Only you name and comment/ review is shown to other viewers of our website, your email address, IP and browser user agent are not displayed to the public.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
If you send us a message via our website contact form we collect the information you provide us with (name, email address and phone number) as well as your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Cookies
Our website is built on the popular open-source CMS framework – WordPress. WordPress utilises cookies to allow visitors to register, login and comment on our website’s content. If you do not wish to participate in commenting on our website, WordPress will not deploy any cookies onto your device. Cookies will only be created by WordPress if you actively register or comment via the clear forms on our website.

wp-settings-{time}-[UID] – Serveral WP Settings cookies may be set if you log into the website. The number on the end is your individual user ID from the users database table. This is used to customise your view of admin interface, and possibly also the main site interface.
wordpress_logged_in_### – These WordPress session cookies are created if and when you log into WordPress either as an administrator or contributor to the website.
woocommerce_cart_hash – Contains information about the cart as a whole and helps the website know when the cart data changes. This cookie expires when you close the browser
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with
When you purchase a product from our website
When you purchase products from us online, we ask you for your name, address, contact telephone number, email address and payment details. We will use your information to verify your credit/debit card details for your purchase, process your order and to send you your products. We will also send you a receipt via email and we may use your telephone number to contact you regarding your purchase. We require this information in order to process your payment, deliver your products or services and fulfil our contract with you. We record your IP address in order to show that the correct tax was applied to the sale, which we are required to do by law. Your information is stored (with the exception of your payment details which we do not store) on in our website database on our server, which is based in the UK. Your credit/debit card details are passed to a third-party payment processor, Stripe, which is based in the USA and is certified to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework (which requires effective safeguards for your information). You can read their Privacy Shield Policy here. We do not retain your credit card information. We do use the information you provide to make automated decisions that might affect you, such as sending you promotions and offers we think are relevant to you. We keep your order information for an indefinite period, but will immediately remove it from out database upon request. Please email us if you would like us to remove your data.
Our website has Google Analytics installed which allows us to track and compile visitor statistics. The information collected ranges from simple traffic volume to the type of browser you are viewing our website with. This information is valuable to us not just for marketing analysis and quantification, but to improve the usability, security and load speed of our website content. Google Analytics is a popular, secure, flagship webmaster product from Google. The privacy and security of Google Analytics data is a high priority at Google that you can read more about on Google’s Analytics Terms of Service page. Google also offer a Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on that will allow you to automatically Opt-out of all websites that track your activity via Google Analytics.

_ga, _gat – The single default cookie for Google Universal Analytics. This sole cookie used by Goole Analytics stores a unique client identifier (Client ID) which is set randomly. This cookie is set to expire after 24 months (2 years) and is refreshed each time you visit our website.
_utmb – A Google Analytics cookie, which creates a timestamp of the exact moment when a visitor enters a site.
_utmc – A Google Analytics cookie, which creates a timestamp of the exact moment when a visitor leaves the site.
_utmv – Used for reporting in Google Analytics classifying the visitor.
_utmz – A Google Analytics cookie which tracks where the visitor came from, what search engine was used, what link was clicked on, what keywords used, and where in the world the site was accessed from.
When you subscribe to our newsletter
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for your email and, optionally, your first and last names. We use Mailchimp to send emails and the details you provide are stored in our account with them. You can read about Mailchimp’s privacy policy here. We provide an unsubscribe link in every email newsletter we send and you are free to unsubscribe at any time. If you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive newsletters from us and we will no longer be able to view your email address. However it will still be stored in Mailchimp’s database to ensure that your email cannot be added to our subscribers list again, unless you follow the subscription process again. If you would like your personal data removing entirely from our Mailchimp account please email us.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment or review, the comment/review and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments/reviews automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If you purchase from our website, we will hold the order information and the data provided (with the exception of credit/debit card details) for an indefinite period of time. If you would like us to delete your information please email us.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Please email us if you would like us to do this.
